Oklahoma City – Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony will host a free educational luncheon on MAKOplasty® robotic knee surgery on Tuesday, July 26, at noon, in the Education Center, 1111 N. Dewey Ave., Oklahoma City.
MAKOplasty® is used to treat early to mid-stage osteoarthritis of the knee. This technology offers a more precise and consistent result for partial knee resurfacing. The system provides the surgeon a pre-surgical plan that details the technique for bone preparation and customized implant positioning using a CT scan of the patient’s knee.
Mark Kowalski, M.D., will discuss the new, minimally invasive, robotic-assisted partial knee resurfacing procedure. Dr. Kowalski is a fellowship-trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon on staff at Bone and Joint Hospital with a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine.
Attend this free luncheon to learn more about the benefits of MAKOplasty®. Space is limited. Please register by calling (405) 979-7814.
