Zak Knutson, M.D., joins medical staff at
Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony
Oklahoma City – Chad Aduddell, president, Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony, is pleased to welcome a new physician to the hospital’s medical staff.
Zak Knutson, M.D., specializes in sports medicine. Dr. Knutson will be doing arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee and shoulder as well as shoulder replacements, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, ACL tears, along with other ligament injuries to the knee. His areas of interest include hip and knee preservation, with arthritis prevention and cartilage restoration procedures being part of that interest.
Dr. Knutson received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Department of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Knutson is in private practice at the Oklahoma Sports Orthopedic Institute (OSOI) which has offices throughout the metro.
